Rick brings passion, determination, and an unwavering commitment to justice to every case he handles. Over the past two decades, he has worked tirelessly to advocate for the less fortunate and often-overlooked members of our community.

Before joining Cloward Trial Lawyers, Rick operated a successful solo practice, representing thousands of clients across a broad range of legal areas. His experience includes personal injury, criminal defense, civil rights litigation, probate litigation, real estate litigation, and consumer rights cases. Rick has handled and assisted in a number of “high profile” cases that garnered national media attention.

Rick is a seasoned litigator with a proven track record of success. He has secured landmark victories before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, Supreme Court of Hawaii and the U.S. Court of Appeals. Proficient in all phases of litigation, Rick has the skills and experience to manage your case from start to finish – and a relentless drive to achieve outstanding results.

A lifelong learner and dedicated advocate, Rick continually invests in sharpening his skills. He is a proud graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer’s College (September 2013), where he met Ben Cloward. Their shared dedication to trial excellence led Ben to invite Rick to join the firm – an opportunity Rick embraced once his son came of age.

Rick was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law (Go Vols!). Though he now practices in Nevada, Rick spent much of his adult life in Hawaii, where his family still resides.
